Mindy Misener, Prose Editor

Fiction writer, essayist, and preacher Mindy Misener (she/her) is a graduate of Williams College (BA) and the University of Michigan (MFA). Her work has appeared in The Common, Image, The Pinch, CrossCurrents, Plough, The Appalachian Review, and The Missouri Review, among other outlets. Previously a writing teacher, she is now enrolled at Yale Divinity School and plans to be ordained in the United Church of Christ.

Remi Recchia, Poetry Editor

Remi Recchia (he/him) is a Lambda Literary Special Prize-winning poet, essayist, and editor from Kalamazoo, Michigan. An eight-time Pushcart Prize nominee, his work has appeared in World Literature Today, Best New Poets 2021, and Best of the Net 2025, among others. He is the author of two collections of poetry and four poetry chapbooks, and he is the editor of two contemporary poetry anthologies. Remi has received support from institutions such as Tin House, PEN America, and the Poetry Foundation. He holds an MFA in poetry and a PhD in English. Remi is currently pursuing an M.Div. at Yale Divinity School and the Institute of Sacred Music.

Ren Manuel, Visual Arts Editor

After graduating from Carleton College with a BA in studio art and art history, Ren Manuel (they/them) began school at Yale Divinity School to work towards their MA in art and religion. When they are not in class, Ren can be found painting, drawing, or sewing in their home studio. Since moving to New Haven in 2024 they have exhibited their work at New Haven Creative Arts Center, Guilford Arts, and been published in literary and visual arts magazines including The Tower and The Perch. After graduating in 2026 Ren hopes to pursue their studio work full-time.
