Shiva! I confess:
A hawk hovered overhead,
and I surrendered
to silk feathers
and beak
hooked for flesh.
My wounds are persistent.
Shiva! I’ve returned
to our cave,
like an offered meal.

Nidhi Agrawal has a background in communication design in media and entertainment spaces. She strongly feels that poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder; a tool that keeps her going in life, driven by the intense physical and emotional trauma she experiences through her medical condition.
